In this workshop, Karen will share the fun of natural food preparation
and the delicious taste of whole, organic, ripe fruit, vegetables,
nuts and seeds through making simple, easy-to-prepare live food
recipes with children. Karen feels that it is extremely important
to provide adult and peer support for children and their families
desiring to live a healthy lifestyle. We will prepare quick simple
recipes such as BAT cereal, banana splits, cashew lasagna, zucchini
spaghetti and sweet marinara, Emerald green smoothie, and Brazil
pancakes with mango and blueberry sauce, and more! Many of these
recipes contain only 2 or 3 ingredients. In addition to preparing
raw food recipes together, Karen will read books and poetry focused
on obtaining the best possible nourishment and explain "why."
Discussion on exercise, sunshine and connection to our animal friends
will all be included as part of a pleasurable experience for children
and parents. Does your child suffer from the "normal"
childhood illnesses, such as colds, ear and throat infections, asthma,
allergies and other complications? These sicknesses are not necessary.
No child has to grow up with chronic illness. Come and learn together
with your child in the first children's health class of its kind!
Karen reveals terrific tips for children of all ages in how to improve
their diet and lifestyle in a fun and effortless way.
